Emily is a licensed somatic psychotherapist with an integrated mind-body approach, including both birth psychology and Gestalt therapy principles. She has over 20 years of experience as a practitioner of mindfulness, body-centering techniques and advanced somatic practice. She is also trained as a birth educator through the Association of Pre- and Peri-Natal Psychology and Health (APPPAH).

Emily lives in Chapel Hill, NC with her partner and chocolate lab Henry. She is a graduate of John F. Kennedy University and enjoys spending time hiking, baking, playing music and spending time by the ocean.
